Terms of Use

Using the app

Midwest Morel Forecast gives weather-based estimates of morel hunting conditions. By using the app or website you agree to these terms.

Forecasts are estimates, not guarantees

Forecast scores are based on weather, soil temperature and seasonal patterns. They never guarantee that morels or any other mushroom will be found at any place or time. Local conditions vary.

Never eat a mushroom based on an app

Species guides, Photo ID and the AI advisor are for learning only and can be wrong. Some look-alikes, such as false morels, are toxic. Never eat any wild mushroom unless an expert has confirmed its identification. You are responsible for what you pick and eat.

Land access and safety

Follow all laws and land rules, get permission before hunting on private land, and take care in the woods.

Community content

If you share reports, names or notes, do not post anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that exposes someone else's private spots. We may remove content or accounts that break these rules. You can report or block content in the app or by emailing support@midwestmorelforecast.com.

Pro membership

Pro features are provided to members with an active membership. Memberships are managed and billed through Whop under its terms.

No warranty and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury or illness arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms. See also our Privacy Policy.
